Dear Noel

We only 'lived there' for 3 weeks, and had no issues at all with power or sewage.  We saw in the clubhouse that the lights seemed to go up and down a bit, but not in our house, at least not noticably.

Good news to hear that the HC may come this month, although being Scottish, I was enjoying my free utilities!

Cheers

Jeff

I heard today that the council have done some inspections, but are in no hurry.  An insider gave me the impression that the council start to play games with resorts at this stage, demanding work which will benefit them, such as committing to or completing a better road at the entrance to the resort, etc.   He was of the view that things are therefore unlikely to move too fast, but impossible to say!  We have completed one month ago, and so far have had no issues as a result of not having the HC.  I guess if you are in no rush to complete, then best to sit it out, but if you have deadlines then fine to sign, otherwise it is impossible to plan anything.

Good luck!

Dear Peraleja owners

We have just returned from a great couple of weeks at Peraleja, with our property signed, snagged, furnished, and lived in for the last week!  What an exhausting process, but everything went very well generally.

Of course like everyone else, we are still awaiting the habitation certificate, but all the other positives (excellent quality of finish, golf course to ourselves!, very helpful Peraleja team) far outweigh this small hurdle.

We will be renting our Romera property for most of the year, so if you are planning a trip, and prefer to stay onsite rather than with Polaris (!!!), then we may be able to accommodate your needs.

Just email me on jeff@h-g-r.com, or call me on 0041786372365, and I will be pleased to offer any advice from our experiences, and to see if we can help you with accommodation if you wish to rent our villa for a trip.

I see lots more activity on this forum in general which is great.  My opinion is that we will all be owners of a very exclusive development, and it is important to keep positive in the pre-completing phase, which can be frustrating at times!

See you all in Spain.

Thanks for that - yes, just logged in.  We have a tree in our 'garden'!  Good stuff.

Course does not look so nice when cloudy though...!  That was not in the sales material - thought we were guaranteed sun all year!

OK, see you next month then.

Hello All, I have just discovered this website and message board.  Myself and my wife Heather will be attending in November, and very much look forward to meeting fellow buyers and investors.

Like many it seems, I am having trouble to get any quick response recently from Peraleja on many questions, so will be good to pin them down next month!

Does anyone have any updated photos, or is there an area on this board somewhere that they can be centrally posted and accessed?  I am happy to give an email address if anyone has any photos that can be emailed.

Hope to meet many of you next month then.

Jeff Ross
