Unfotunately this is a common problem with any new urbanisation, when my mother in law moved in to quesda 5 years ago we where burgled on the third day, went out for an hour, came back they had hopped over two balconies and got in without any sign of forced entry.

Just make sure you have changed all your locks, and if possible fit extra locks inside on the windows and your grills, but what ever you do, dont let them get the better of you, because believe me eventually they move on to the next new develepment.

Just enjoy your new home, because we carried on and my mother- in- law is happy where she is.

What's happening with the build at El Pinet - are they able to carry on with this one?

Mark & I were down at El Pinet on Saturday - didn't see any activity - it felt a bit like a ghost town!  It is a beautiful location and as JA says just a quick stroll to the beach.  We saw a lot of buildings in progress still many on builders utilities.  Could not see any established amenities i.e. supermarket, restaurants, etc although there were some units being built clearly for these in mind.  There were a few properties up for sale, even a Rosita for sale with San Jose!

To be honest with all that we have been through with San Jose at Jumilla would I choose to put my trust in San Jose again - no I wouldn't but if eventually the only option was to consider a transfer to El Pinet or lose my money - I would have to think about it seriously.  Although it seems from everything we're hearing there are no properties available through San Jose at El Pinet anyway so I guess it's back to square one!
