Hi all, sorry, I got it wrong. Just got my latest 2 monthly bill from Iberdrolla which shows a fixed charge of Euro 48.24. The previous 2 monthly bill for Euro 96 was Iberdrollas fun way of rounding out the previous months fixed charges.

So, back to sleep until the next financial fright!!!!

Hi

My latest bi monthly Iberdrolla electric bill shows my fixed charge has increased by a whopping (approx)150%. My normal 2 monthly fixed charge of 39 euro has been increased to 96 euro.

I understand the government of Spain has changed the the fixed / variable 35%/ 65% to 65% / 35% but this does not explain my fixedcharge bill of 96 euro. I'm travelling at the moment so unable to make enquiries. Anyone else experienced a change in their fixed charge?

Hi

I do not understand why my bi monthly elecrical fixed charge has increased by a whopping 150% from 39 euros to 96 euros. I understand that the government of Spain recently increased the fixed/variable charges from 35%/65% to 65%/35%. Anybody else experienced this increase? I travelling at the moment and therefore unable to contact Iberdrolla.

Hi Lifeline,

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.  Our AGM will be sometime in June. Sadly it's not  really a meeting, more a free for all but I'll try to get a word in and see what happens.

Again, thank you.

Javelin.

Thread: Noisy Nursery in our community

--------------------------------------
16 May 2013 10:19 AM:

At our last AGM we were introduced to the management and supervisors of a nursery school that would occupy the ground floor of one of the four blocks in our community.

The announcment came as a surprise to all, however, as only one block was affected there were no objections mainly because residents/owners from the affected block were absent from the AGM.

Now 10 months down the track, life for the residents living  in the 6 apartments above the nursery and outside play area has become unbearable.

From 9 in the morning to 6 in the evening the air is filled with the screams, cries and shouts of infant and supervisor alike.

The infants are lovely and a joy to watch but like all young ones they can produce sounds that make the ears ring. Music perhaps to mums and dads but not so nice for them as want a bit of peace and quiet.

Had we known beforehand we would never have given our approval.

We do not want the nursery and the noise that goes with it.

What action if any should we take?

Your suggestions, comments or recommendations appreciated

Thank you.
