I was told they were fruit flies but having googled it they certainly look more like mossie' s. I' m just baffled as I haven't been bitten and my neighbours on block 10 haven't been either and there are so many of them. Usually mossie' s like me! Also in the 6 years I have been here I  have never seen these flies. They don't fly around much just stick to ceiling and above patio doors and front door. As long as they don't bite I can tolerate them and have bought a spray!

We have a lot of small fruit flies on La Isla that don't bite, no mosquitoes as they spray regularly. I did get bitten on the Jardines though!
