Hi Philip and Luc

Good to hear from you and glad to have you on the ground at Jardines on a permanent basis.  We hope to join you there later in the year. 

Since purchasing in November 2007 we have received no communication regarding meetings etc. from the administrator nor El Presidente.  We have had to rely on Gilly and John and this forum to keep us updated.  We had put all this down to lack of communication as we are over three thousand miles away although we have given them everyway of contact available to reach us.  However after your experience it is possible that they do not wish participation from all the owners - just a chosen few. 

We agree whole heartedly with your additional agenda items and hope that they are dealt with at the upcoming AGM.  Strangely enough the EOS general forum is discussing the change of a community area to a playground and the lawyer has answered that it must be approved by a majority of the owners and that planning permission should be obtained from the authorities.

Thanks for keeping us all updated.  Hopefully we will meet up next month on our brief visit.

Hola,

When we were over in December, our Ballestar agent made an appointment with the Building site foreman for us to have a quick look around the show flat.       I understand that it is easier now but believe  you will still need to be accompanied by a Ballestar agent.   We get a monthly  update from Parador Properties and it notes that the apartment is now fully tiled so things are progressing inside.

We are getting excited now but  don't think we will be able to get over to Spain until September.

The Ballestar rep and our agent, Parador Properties both stressed that we would not be able to arrive and take up residence - and that it would take at the very least a day or two.  We are not certain of our time schedule as yet but think we will book ourselves into a hotel for  a possible week.  I believe Gilly and John are going out soon so they may have more information for us all. 

Fingers crossed that it will all go smoothly.

Hello and Happy New Year

We had a brief but productive visit to Spain before Christmas.  At this stage Ballester is very protective of anyone entering the building site but we were able to make an appointment to view the show house.  It was on the ground floor level and in the A block.  It was unfurnished.  The finish was very good.  Overall we felt that it was smaller than anticipated but the light colouring on the tiles gave it a feeling of space.  The area for the swimming pool has been dug out and there is a lovely natural stone wall starting to take shape.

The agent for Ballester confirmed that the completion date remains at 30th June, 2007.  After which time the paper work has to be done with the Town Hall.  She said that we would all be notified when ready and a time frame given for completion.

Altea Hills continues to grow.  It is such a beautiful area and we enjoyed the views.  We even made it to the top and had the view to Benidorm and over to Calpe.  The weather was sunny in the day but chilly when the sun went down around 5:00.  We would like to think we will be out again in the Spring but no plans as yet.
