I am sorry but this is Spain. This is obviously part of their tradition and culture and who are we as British people to judge them on that. If we live in their country we do have to accept their way of life, we don't have to like it, be we do have to accept it.

Thanks Lesley that is very reassuring! The terraces 'sold' us the apartment and not to be able to use them would be a nightmare! Thanks again

We are moving to CDS next month but have now been told that the complex is EXTREMELY windy and should not move there. Have been told that we will not be able to open any windows or socialise outside on the terraces. Is this correct does anyone know?
