Does anyone in the Mira Mar know how much to charge for rentals of a one bedroom apartment.  I have loads of people that want to rent it, but I am not sure how nuch to charge.

I am not sure about the garages been ready for use.  We did hire a car last time we visited but parked it outside by the side of the road.  I'd heard that the garage door did not open all time.  Did not want to get locked in.  The lifts up to the apartment keep breaking down, so once inside the garage you could have a real problem getting out.  The lifts are not reliable at the moment so this also needs sorting out.  we are going over on the 21st May for a week , so maybe I'll have more information after we get back.  I will have a word with Abdul to see if he thinks that they are safe to use.

Hello everyone we have just arrived back after a 10 day holiday and thought I'd share what I've just found out.  The water and electricity is going to be on builders supply until at least christmas.This means no bills just yet. Abdul told me this.(he's the man to ask for any information, only speaks spanish though.) The swimming pool has not got fixed yet, but they are sorting it out as soon as they can.  still working inside the new block.  So far only a couple of spanish families seem to be living there. All the postbox keys are going to be given to one apartment block.  We have to go and collect them ourselves.No gates are on the front of the building and people that are now living in the Miramar seem to be parking next to the swimming pool on the tiled area.This needs sorting out as its not safe since this is where the children run around to get into the pool area. It will ruin the look of the tiles and is not very considerate!!! It also means that certain people on the ground floor sit on there balcony and have to look at cars. This is not the view they paid for.The apartments now seem very safe and I didn't have any problems with security.  Every night the lights are on in the grounds and it now seems very safe and secure.

Hello challiwell we met a couple whilst we were staying in our apartment and they had been broken into on the 5th floor.  They now have locks on all their windows and even on the patio doors.  They had things stolen in the apartment so they also had grills put on the patio doors as well.

Hi all,

 

Have just returned from 18 day visit getting back on 9th December. The large crane as been taken down and they are fitting kitchens and painting in block 2. We have a 1 bed in block 1 and have met a lot of people ready to move into block 2 in February.

We have had a couple of snagging problems (water leaks on boiler, pressure too high and passing out of pressure release valve, builder to fit remedy under sink) ARCA furniture (upgraded) had various chips and paint problems, we sent the whole lot back!

We changed the door locks straight away after finding that an apartment on the 5th floor was entered and burgled using the 5th key (in the hands of the on-site builders) this costs 20 euros and fitted free by the supermarket?ferreteria owner opposite the build. We have Spanish language so we helped where we could with other English owners.

The build quality is superb, and we have been in the other type appartments, but WARDROBES are not included, we have left this with our Spanish solicitor!
