we had something similar with the medina golf resort and got all our money back because we had some bank guarantee insurances

we used manzanares lawyers, in the end they were very good (i dont trust the spanish system ...an i also speak fluent spanish)

 it can be done...but took us 4 years ....

Thanks. It's only after discussions with Spanish bankers and colleagues in the banking and real estate - they told me not to buy now, and follows a thread below from the lady who refused sex with her boss...so , I think you've got a point, but it is the market forces which determine price ... Sure there will be some die hards, but the banks will repossess and sell at a loss to recapitalize - they have to; their instructions are that, but a few managers are trying to look after their own friends, so it's making it worse . On many cases these aren't even repos but just empty blocks...

I offered the bank a decent price in cash for a 2 bed; ok it was lowish, but not exaggerated. They decided to sell it to their cousin or amigo and then give another mortgage. Transpired that their "amigo" lost the job; they asked me and I told the bank bbva , to go to hell and burn

Strong response, I admit, but the situation is due to simpleton bank managers and a corrupt system. I will wait now till November, where my analysis suggests Spain will burn at its highest and prices will fall sharply. Also expect more unemployment, a spike in the sterling value and more strikes . Viva espana !

i am trying to get our deposit of 30% back from Medina Golf. It looks as if its not going anywhere.Our current spanish lawyers are pretty useless , and i speak pretty fluent spanish, and can tell you some of the lawyers are in bed with either the promoters or the development agency - so be careful who you trust. They wanted about 4000 euros (in addition to whatwas already paid) to start a case to recover the money - i stated we would give them 6000 euros if they succeeded in getting the money back.

Can i ask what other people are doing with Medina Golf ? Has anyone got their deposit back ?

hi

i haveheard that the insurances are meaningless. I know someone who is trying to gettheir money back .

neither Nadal Sol, nor peninsual nor the insurance company had any intentions of paying. I even heard that they refused to recieve the recorded deliveries sent by the lawyers

I think this person is attempting to get his money through the legal route

what do you think of this ? do you think this person should hold onto the completion of medina golf or should he get his money back ?

This person also has good media contacts and wanted a list of all people who bought on medina golf ; i guess i can act as an intermediary
