I would be very interested to hear what is happening at Peraleja. Has the place got off the ground yet? Last time I was there, only a few of the properties seemed to be completed and it appeared to be a ghost town. Which is a pity because it has fantastic potential and terrific architecture.

The company has begun to market the Bulleria villas - I think there are about 12 of them in a row just off the roundabout at the top left corner of the section of the site currently being developed. They come as 3 and 4 beds. The 3 beds are just under 120 sq metres and start at euro 712k while the 4 beds are 185 sq metres and start at euro 818k. Plus IVA. The plot sizes vary and the 4 bed on the largest plot is just under euro 1million plus IVA.  I think these are Phase 2. The plans also show more plots but I don't think these are available off plan yet. The price list shows quite a few villas still available in Phase 1.

The impression we got was that the company would pace the build in line with our preferred closing date - so my guess is if next Jan doesn't suit you, you might be able to request a slow-down.

One issue that did concern us was the hotel. It seems that no contract has been signed yet and fear that this may be due to lack of interest by hotel chains. All we were told was that they were looking to sign a contract for a boutique style hotel and were in discussion with some hotel chains. Of course the build has yet to start on the hotel building. The club house is shaping up and looks good and the piano bar is probably not far behind. But the commercial section has not even begun. One other disappointment was that there are no plans for a large communal pool - which can be a great place for children to meet.

Hi

Was at Peraleja last week. We were told that the villas in Phase 2 would be larger (specifically that the bedrooms would be larger) but so also would be the prize tags. The Bulleria is one of the new designs and will have a central courtyard onto which the bedrooms and living area will look - giving more light. The villas in Phase 2 are also to be of a higher spec with additions such as jaccuzzi bath in the main bathroom, home cinema pre-installation and I think heated pools (not sure on that last bit).
