I use Telefonica for broadband, it is reliable and as fast as you can expect in Spain, there are various other ways to get broadband but, they are not so reliable, you can for a one off payment subscribe to the Wi-Fi system, this costs in the region of 200.00euros, Vodafone plug-in Wi-Fi system at 39.99 per month. Telefonica charges for 3mb download speed is 53.10 euros per month.

Further to add to the problem of the power surge, we had a clients apartment affected by this and it blew his boiler, even though the electric was turned off at the mains, my advice for future reference, would be to switch the boiler to the off position ( zero on the left hand switch, unplug your boiler from the mains supply and switch off the gas on the main inlet situated underneath the cupboard where the boiler is situated, turn the silver switch on the main copper feed pipe to the vertical position, doing all this will ensure that you will not get this problem in the future.

As Eve Marina are dragging their feet on the satellite system and with no surety that they will fit the system, until it has been resolved in one way or another, I have had satellite fitted, I hope that nobody objects to the dish I have had fitted on my terrace, it is a bit unsightly but, it is only a stopgap measure until it is resolved and we will then have it moved, living full time in Spain and having no TV for the past 2 months has been a bind, this is why I went ahead and had it fitted. Hopefully it will only be for a short period of time that the dish will be on my terrace.
