Water rates for year £319 (470ish euros) and electricity just gone up to £64 per month. Not Angel site but apartment in Guadarma. Would think Angel de Miraflores should be similar. Completed in block 2 last august. Aifos should pay for utilities before habitation licence issued, however our lawyer took 900 euros to cover these costs but have been told that this illegal. Am now in the process of recovering this monies.!!

Returned saturday 28th after 8 days staying in our apt. block 2. Workmen working round the complex - lady brushing away items workmen are leaving! Lots of ground has been cleared of dead grass/ bushes etc that were on the perimeter path. Other than - once again nice holiday (part from the rain). Lots of apts up for sale on the complex - not known whether due to the negative comments on this and other sites OR just wanting to make a quick buck !!j

I completed in August - block 2. Not with GVA I hasten to add. My lawyer confirmed that Aifos were only releasing @10apts. per week due to not wanting large numbers of people moving in on the same day. How true this is i do not know !!! We did push our lawyer to get a completion date as we would have had no where to stay in August. On Aifos web page, if you go into the description of Angel de Miraflores it does state that it is on the Riviera del Sol and lists main amenities.

Further to my message below - before I reply to individual e-mails, I will speak to my contacts and see whether or not they can accomodate more work. Having lived in Spain and having traveled. I to the area for the past 12 years, I know how easy it is for people to take on too much work and not deliver a high standard of service to clients. Thats when people start to complain - when their appartment is not cleaned to a high standard or their rental is not picked up at the airport on time. Just returned 04/09/06. Bought block 2 and completed 11/8/2006. So many negative comments but hey - not prettiest of appts, but we live inside and not outside. Once inside what wonderful sea and mountain views. Found a guy who lives on complex who kitted out our wardrobe with shelves and rails. Fitted shower cubicle to our unexpected 2nd bathroom - pleased with his work. His wife is now our cleaner / laundry person after listening to how she cleans other appts. I have also found a person who does airport runs in a seven seater. Sampled most of the bars at the bottom of the hill and also in the small complex further up the hill. Beach bars are great during the day for eats and drinks. Entertainment @6 nights a week at Miraflores club house which can be walked to in about 15/20 mins. Cannot wait to go back in October. I think in a years time, once there is some greenery around the outside of the complex and the pool area has had some tlc we'll be wondering what all the fuss was about - well I will...
