I don't know whether these two places have been recommended before on the forum, but we recently returned from Condado and would really like to recommend two places we ate at and really enjoyed.

The first was Don Ricardos in Mazarron, (close to bus station). This is English run. The chef was really friendly and keen to please and is from Huddersfield area. The waitress was from North Yorkshire. She was really friendly and heplful and both were great with the kids (3 & 4). Lovely food and great service! Varied menu and daily specials. Look out for advert in Costa Calida magazine. 

The other was La Siesta. Bolnuevo beachfront. Literally on the beach. Lovely restaurant and lovely position on the back of Bolnuevo beach. Great views out to sea whilst you dine! Large and varied menu and reasonable prices. Pleasant staff.

 

We have been recommende La Caverna on a number of occassions, but have yet to try it ourselves. Has anyone any other recommendations for future trips?

We were over in Spain in June for a couple of weeks. We took our two girls (3 & 4 ) to the horseriding (Meta).

We found the people there were really friendly. The girls had 2 one hours sessions and loved it and had a fantastic time. Kim was particularly firendly and really good with the girls and seemed to be enjoying herself too! We would really recommend it to anyone, They do hack out trips, pony rides, birthday parties and overnight stays. Great way to entertain the kids.It is really easy to find (10 minutes' drive from Condado). Great fun, accessible and relaitvely cheap entertainment for all.

Hi all

Weve just had four days at Condado and i agree with all the points Billbo makes.The course is very tough the greens fast and the surfaces superb but the course does have an untidy look about it and is not quite as pleasing on the eye as say Hacienda del Alamo.All in all potential for a great course but needs some finishing touches.

You can play twilight after 3 for 30euros until sept 15th(manuel trolley included)

Hi All. First time poster here.

4 of us are coming over to play golf 21st 22nd 23rd February. It appears that the discounted rates finish on the 14th February. Does anyone know if there are due  to be any offers on after that date? We were looking hopefully to play Condado twice and El Valle once. Or maybe if anyone knows of any offers on any non Polaris courses in the area.

Would anyone recommned booking the golf before we get out there if the course is getting busy lately?

Pleased to hear lots of good reports about the course at Condado. Will have to make sure we play it at least once!

Any advice would be welcome.
