In 2007 we paid a deposit on an apartment to be built at the El Patio development near Marina de Casares. The development started soon after but the developers got into financial difficulty and although the development was completed late, the quality of the finished units was sub-standard.
We appointed Lawyers of Spain to try and retrieve our deposit but without success. We felt that LOS was not advancing our case so we terminated their contract.
It was on the Eye on Spain website that we found out about Costa Luz Lawyers and Maria L de Castro. We were particularly impressed by the legal advice and Maria’s contributions on the site to such an extent that we paid a visit to her office in Algeciras and engaged her to fight our case.
Maria and her staff were very professional and showed great expertise in the way they handled our case, keeping us informed on how the legal fight to recover our money progressed. Although it took some time to eventually win our case, we eventually received our deposit plus interest and legal costs. It was a great relief to have such a successful conclusion and we are very grateful to Maria and her team at Costa Luz Lawyers. They are highly recommended by us.
