Hi, as buyers we've been watching this website for some time and really feel that it provides people with an excellent source of information.  We have bought on this development as a re-sale last year.  After many months of waiting to sign contracts because of many issues arising from the contract with Aifos, our spanish lawyor who we can truly recommend who is very much on the ball with the tactics of Aifos.  Aifos have a terrible reputation in Spain with all conveyancing lawyors.

We recently went down to take some uptodate photos.  As you can see foundations have been laid for the three blocks which as yet do not have a building licence.  The work during the summer did slow a little because of a quarry closing, but it seems to be progressing quite steadily.

We live on the Costa del Sol and we visit the site quite regularly.  We will be visiting again sometime before xmas, so will take some more photos.

With regard to an earlier thread concerning the installation of air conditioning units.  We have had air-con/heating fitted to a number of properties we have purchased in Spain.  The prices quoted by Aifos and their agents are ridiculously high.  Regardless of the amount of pre-installation the prices should not be this high.  We have used a particular, independent and English speaking engineer who has given an excellent service, with high quality/ efficient units for a very much lower price.   We would be happy to recommend him to anyone who is interested.

Community thread: any opinions on Formentera del Segura ?
