Hi all

Recently back from holidays and catching up with things on here.  We found this "conlulu's" post quite amusing, if not pathetic, desperate and childish.

We, for one, are clients of Maria, having previously dealt with a useless lawyer who failed to protect our interests, and can assure everyone that there are lawyers (specifically in Algeciras!) with a moral sense who are concerned about consumer rights and applying the rule of law.  Though this may irritate the developers and anyone else involved in their corrupt practices, we have every confidence that - no matter how long it takes - Maria's firm will get us through this nightmare.

Not sure how you can refer to an organisation or individual that blatantly breaks the law as "on the ball".  Do we all have [legal] bank guarantees?  This is the opening promise on SMD's site.  I think not.

Perhaps I could try to ask some very simple questions, which do not require any of us to be lawyers:

1.  Spanish law requires developers to provide all buyers with a bank guarantee at the time of signing the private contract.  This is very basic, I'm sure you will agree.  Would you therefore advise (yes or no) whether Majestic/Sol Mijas has issued these bank guarantees to all buyers and if not why not?

2.  If you were to discover that Baugat were refusing bank guarantees to buyers, what action would Majestic take to ensure compliance with the law?

3.  Who are the directors of Majestic?

When you assume that everyone knows what is happening, how do you expect people who don't use this website to know what is going on?  Perhaps you might extend them, and indeed the rest of us, some professional courtesy and have your directors formally write to everyone to explain the mess.

Also, please have some respect for us and do not lie by suggesting that you will answer any queries.  You are well aware that when it comes to the pertinent questions re. compliance with the law, you simply do not answer and hide behind Baugat Abogados.

Majestic ought to be ashamed of itself.
