All it's probaly nearer to the truth that the selling agencies do know that you can obtain the NIE certificae from the Consulate in London or Manchester but make so much money from the mid term visits of their clients that they are reluctant to give the information. Atlas charge over 100 euros for a mid term service to visit your property and get the NIE.

Hi Michael, My wife and I got our NIE numbers by applying to the Spanish consulate in Manchester. The whole process took 6 weeks and I think it was £15 per person. This process is ideal as long as you are not in a rush. Atlas, our agents, did not know it was possible to obtain your NIE in this way. We are buying No 21 on phase 2 and will complete on the 11th of October.

All, Hello My name is Greg and along with my wife Jean we have purchased No 21 on phase 2. There seems to be little or no information on the size of the swimming pool at Olivia or indeed the shape etc. I presume there must be plans for the pool so the developer can conform to the planning permission. Has anybody been shown plans of the pool. The remaining land available for the pool doesn't seem very big for the size of the evelopement. Does anybody have any more info? I will be contacting Atlas to see if they have any answers and will post any information I receive.
