The company that has taken over is based in Barcelona and has no local offices. Is it worth tring to get information of take over from Iberdrola/Union Fenosa.  What I still don't understand is why these two big companies would pass on the supply to a smaller company.  There has been no other community in the area that this has happened to.  It just doesn't make sense!!

So are you saying that Iberdrola and Union Fenosa can just sell on our electricity supply to another company without a contract being signed by the President.?

I'm talking about supply to the communal areas.  Our comunity has been up and running for around tenyears and this is the first time anything like this has happened.

Hi Everyone

 

I'm new to the forum and was wondering if any other community has heard of the same situation.  Recently our community electricity supply which was previously with Iberdrola/Union Fenosa was taken over by a company called Escandinavia de Electricidad.  Nobody knew anything about this until the company asked for payment for four months  supply of electricity.  The administrators refused to pay because there was  allegedly no contract and no invoice produced by this company.  As a result of no payment being received the company cut off the supply and refused to reconnect until full payment was received.  The administrators state that they still haven't received a contract or invoice and taking this company to court would be a waste of time as they will probably produce a contract at the court hearing.

Any advise greatfully received.
