WRITING FOR STAGE AND SCREEN

A brand new course which over 4 days will give you the tools you need to produce a script to a professional standard. Elements of the course will include characterization, plotting, dialogue and stage & set directions and script presentation.

The course will be run by stage and screen writer, Phillip Meeks whose television credits include Emmerdale, Heartbeat, Doctors and a new drama series currently optioned by ABC Australia. On stage his one man play Twinkle Little Star was nominated for a Stage Award at the Edinburgh Fringe and is currently in pre production at Cheltenham Everyman. His play I Met A Man Who Wasn’t There goes on a national tour this summer. He has recently been commissioned by York Theatre Royal for a new play to be staged this summer.

The course will be held in the Manilva on the following dates: 7^th-10^th April 2011 and May 19^th-22^nd.

Yes, he claims to be in Tampa Bay with Karen Milo - who actually when you Google her is an eminent doctor in the area.  I think the scam works by you banking the cheque which shows as a credit in your account.  Whilst it's going through the system, he cancels his booking and asks for a refund telling you to keep x amount for your trouble.

It's a nasty insiduous way to carry on!

Yes, I have had an enquiry too and he even sent a euro cheque for E7200 - the FBI are now looking into this matter. If anyone gets an enquiry from him you should report it at www.ic3.gov the FBI internet complaint website.

Hi there

A group of us went to this restaurant in the Plaza Vincente Espinel in Sabi (the top square near by the taxi rank) and we can't recommend it highly enough.  The food is really good quality, innovative and not expensive.  There's great attention to detail on the presentation and service.  there's lots of little extras - a cheese and 'jam' aperitif, delicious tomato bread and a wonderful little chocolate with coffee.  there are specials for mains and dessert - one of us tried almond cheesecake with cloudberry compote, delicious.  Prices are reasonable too.  So let's a support it and raise the bar in Sabi!
