hi everyone,

presumably this is read by everyone involved with the development, including developers and lawyers, so careful what you say.

I've had a debt collection agency phoning me up saying that unless i complete they're going to sue me to get the rest of the money.

despite what you may have been told by your lawyer at time of signing up you can apparently wave goodbye to all your deposit.

the clause about 50% of your deposit is at the developers discretion - i.e. you can whistle for it.

anyone got any ideas?

True enough it was a gamble. I was lead to believe that i was gambling 50% of my deposit rather than the whole lot. The contract mentions this 50% refund only to later say in the small print that its at the developers discretion.

I take on board what kyle says about shooting my mouth off.

Still at the end of the day i'd like to have a quarter share of a property with 3 others in the same position as me.

Hi Everyone,

I'm looking for other people who haven't completed on their property. Like a few other dumbos I fell for all the sales blurb and really thought I'd be able to sell before completion. There must be other people in the same boat; 70 according to one of the threads below. I'm looking to make contact with anyone in the same position with an eye to seeing if we can do a deal with Moleon, or paying a decent lawyer to find out if we can recoup anything.

I'd really be happy if three people with deposits could get Moleon to agree to a part ownership on just one property. What are the chances of that happening?!

Frank

Is there more work needs doing? Lights on the road for example. That new bridge and link up to the toll road. I understood that although they'd promised these things they didn't actually have to deliver them, and the reason they weren't forcing us to complete was out of good will on their part. Victor mentioned some "first occupancy" certificate that they'd got ages ago? anyone know what the actual situation is?

anybody want to buy my flat btw? i'll do a very good price! block 18 g2, at the top of the hill.

carlos don't work there anymore... i spoke to a french woman called Caroline Dimanche. for anyone who hasn't completed yet they will let you in from 10am - 2pm and 3.45pm - 6.30pm she was very pleasant though i have to say slightly evasive about giving out information. she said that... there are still 50-60 properties they're selling. (carlos told me 9 months ago 30). then she said some were reserved so only 30 for sale... she didn;'t know about the road. No lifts or bolletin electricity (whatever that is, presumably community electricity) she said i couldn't take prospective buyers round before completion (carlos let me do this) then she said maybe. she said cheapest 2 beds they were selling were €450k. one of the agents i spoke to said they were selling 2 beds at €365k. we're thinking of moving out to spain as a family, but the whole say one thing and mean another attitude is off putting to say the least... anyone with kids on site? or is there something in the contract forbidding that! frank
