We are returning to the CDS in a couple of weeks and will be driving down in our UK RHD car - we would like to swap it in Spain if possible for a Spanish LHD car (I don't fancy driving a RHD to work every day) - we have tried all the car garages along the coast (English and Spanish) but have had no joy - does anyone know anybody returning to the UK and wanting a RHD to go back with? Its a renault megane coupe, limited edition, yr 2000, 12 months MOT, taxed until June 2010, really good condition, dark red, full leather interior, electric mirrors, air con, 5 CD changer etc - would consider anything similar.

We are a professional married couple (non smokers, no kids but do have pets) who need a long term rental in Duquesa Village from 1st March 2010 (for 11 months in the first instance, possile option of renewing) - I work in Puerto Banus full time but my husband works from home so there is no issue with the pets been left for long periods unsupervised - Ideally not the ground floor and needs to be furnished with Sky TV and have decent views- Also we would want to install a telephone/internet line so this would need to be allowed by the landlord - Could pay €500 pcm plus bills and have one month/plus one month deposit to move in - We have been messed around by various estate agents on the Coast so thought we would try private landlords to see if we have any joy - If anyone knows of anything info would be gratefully received. So am I correct in thinking that if we rented on Coto Real we could go through telefonica and get a landline and internet connection without any problems? Does anyone know of any reasonably priced long term rentals on the complex available from 1st March that will allow pets? We have gone through lots of estate agents so far and there a not being particularly quick (bearing in mind I start my job in 2 weeks we're now panicking slightly!) Thanks

Hi thanks for the reply to my husband - another we've been told is that there are no phone lines avaialble in the complex yet and therefore no internet connection- this is important to us as my husband will be working from home and will need both - we've been told by the estate agent that Duquesa Village has no problem with this but Coto Real does - do you know if this is true?
