I have bought in Arenal Duquesa in 2005. They have been delays for over a year, therefore I am asking for my deposit. They are giving me a hard time to give it back. I am wondering if it is worth to buy instead of loosing my deposit. Any one in the same position? if anyone moved to phase I what is your opinion? Is phase 2 finished? how the complex look like? \i would be very greatful for any comments. Thanks

I have been in Arenal Duquesa in September but I was not allowed to view my apartment no even the show apartment. I told my solicitor to ask for my deposit as I see this complex abandoned and negleted by the constructors. They dont want to know, even refused to acept the letter asking for it. It worry me that nobody is working on the site, I asked one of the guys in the office why everything was paralised and he answered " there is no rush". For your information our deposit is not guaranteed by any bank according to my solicitor. Banco Andalucia did not guarantee any monies, so we are at the merci of Arenal Duquesa.
