Returned to england from la zenia a couple of days ago. Yes we have received a letter for 300 euros, as I understand several others on the site have as well. I think that the photos you have been sent are of the far end of phase 1. We like you are at the other end and very upset at the lack of progress. The second pool is in but not filled, so will not be in use this year. There is still rough dirt around it with no grass. There is no sign of the gym, sauna or solarium, one of the reasons why we had a house on this site. The security gates are not in yet and many other things are not completed. We certainly do not feel like sending 300 euros as it looks like it could be used to complete the above items, things that we have already paid for in the price of the house. With over 60 properties on phase 1 at 300 euros each, this is not far short of 20,000 euros. sounds like a spanish lottery scam to me.

We have, I understand like several others on phase 1 have received a letter stating that there was a meeting on the 21st november 2005 to constitue the owners community, a president was elected and we are now asked to pay 300 euros each. Many of us were owners on phase 1 at this time. Was anyone notified of the meeting and invited to attend?. who is this president, mrs maria del rosario solano lopez and why has it taken almost 2 years to inform us of this meeting?. I personally, with so many things still to complete on phase 1, am not sure if I should be sending 300 euros. To name a few things, second pool not filled, rough dirt still round the pool area with no grass. no gym, sauna or solarium, security gates not installed. With over 60 properties on this phase at 300 euros each, this is a sum of not far short of 20,000 euros, which would go along way to completing the above jobs, things that we have already paid for in the purchase price of our properties. Just returned from 10 days in our house on phase 1, No 30. we have the same problem with the down pipe from the roof and mould on the walls in the back bedroom and lounge. Problem seems to be that the pipe was not connected into the top of the wall near the roof, so when it rains, the water goes down inside the brickwork instead of the down pipe. BUT we did do to the office to be told that the person who deals with these problems would not be in the office until monday and a message would be left. Well the following day, we found that there are 2 men on phase 1 doing snags. ferando and a young lad, who speaks a bit of english. They spent the morning on our roof fixing the problem, loads of red seal placed between the roof and the pipe. Problem is that it has not rained since, so dont know if it has fixed the problem. They say that the walls will dry out and the mould will wash off using hot water with fairy liquid . Will be out there again next month, so will see what happens. We also had a couple of small holes in the kitchen ceiling, could be caused by a leak from one of the waste pipes in the bathroom. Fernado patched up the holes but said that we had to go to the office to ask for the ceiling to be painted again. Was told that someone would call on wednesday to do this but never did. The ceiling in that light yellow colour, does anyone know the shade colour and were we can buy some from as it seems that we will finish up doing it. Funny thing is, is that they never looked at what was causing the problem. They might have performed some magic on it and fixed it. Also found that the high weeds around the second pool had been taken up and the rain water removed from the pool, so things may be looking up or pigs might fly. By the way, I would like to paint my balstrads, or what ever you call them, those white posts on the walls. does anyone know what the white gloss paint is called , the price and the best to get it from. Thats all for now

just came back a few days ago. I think the ones your are talking about must be complete, well almost, as some had people living in them. Word on the grapevine is that the builders have gone bust and another firm is taking them over. good luck about attempting to get your money back, we looked at it and was told it could take up to 5 years. I have yet to hear anyone say anything good about the builders.

They are still about, just returned home from la zenia, had my outside shed broken into and drills etc taken, so 3rd visit to the police station and insurance office.
