For your information.

Yesterday we have seen a security guard walking around the Calas del Pinar site.

Today I asked Patricia what was the reason for security guard. She said it was for the security for unoccupied buildings & no problems with break ins had occurred.

Hi

An update on Calas del Pinar for January.

Regarding the electricity, meters are installed in a cabinet at the end of roads, to which I do not have a key. There is no additional equipment installed in the houses. All people without electricity contracts & unsold houses are now disconnected from the mains supply.

Regarding the endesa electricity connection fee, they have not debited the money from anyone's account that I am aware of. No doubt they will catch up !

The generators are still on site. However they are disconnected from the electricity supply to houses & all fences remain in place. I do not have a date when all fencing will be removed. It is, nonetheless, very quiet without the generators as you will see when next in Terreros.

It is currently very quiet in Terreros with Pepa's, Delfins & some other restaurants closed for holidays. Also the Chinese has a "for let" sign - ,Aguilas here we come!

I assume the generators will disappear soon.

As for the fences / final habitation licences, I think the supply of mains electricity was the final remaining item before the site is completed.
However the council have to agree, gardens tidied up & any other cosmetic items completed before this is finished.

We have waited this long & I am looking forward to walking through gardens down to Delfins.

Hi All

The generators were switched off today & we are all running on endesa electricity supply. It does seem to be very quiet !

Some people have meters installed, however most people do not. I am sure this supply of free endesa electricity will not last very long !

I assume as meters are installed the houses without electricity contracts with endesa will have their supply disconnected.

Get the 'extra strong mints out'.
