We are getting a 2 bed.

The 7000 euros is all for expenses

We paid the full deposit

Transfer tax 3000
Notary fees 750
Searches etc which have taken a lot of phone calls & emails 450
Solicitors fee 1000
Approx cost of connection to water & elect if all certification not in order but won't know for def until we complete cam are not giving the information out until we sign!! Could be quite a bit cheaper.
The rest is vat & other bits & pieces
Must admit didn't have time to shop around for a solicitor as we went on holiday the day after reserving so prob could have got a better deal but they have been really thorough.

Hi all, we are completing on a 2 bed apartment from CAM bank next Friday and have just received a breakdown of extra expenses thought it may be of interest to anyone buying one of these properties

total expensesapprox 7000  Euros for lawyer fees, taxes notery etc

including approx cost of connection to water and electricity.

We had a look at them last summer quite small but the 2 beds do have a large roof terrace which makes up for it, not really planning on sitting inside much.  We have been waiting and watching as the prices came down I dont think you can go wrong really especially if you've got 2 golf mad sons and a golf mad husband!

We have just started the purchase process a 2 bed apartment, can anyone recommend a decent solicitor we can use we only requested to reserve the property yesterday and have already received a contract through via email to sign . Also how long does it take to get an NIE number through
