Yep, we too received the same letter - and we were on the original phase 2.

As stage 7 is the new stage 2 and we put our 25% deposit down in Oct 2006 with no further payments requested since then, it does sem to be a ploy to squeeze more cash from unsuspecting mugs like us - a ploy to make us think completion is just around the corner!  We plan to contact our agent after the Bank Holiday to find out what the hell is going on. Will let you know the response. (Beginning to wish we'd never got involved in this project)

Happy New Year everyone.

We're also on the original phase 2 - block 90 (I think). We put down a 25% initial payment in October 2006, with a view to a second staged payment of 15% to be paid 9 months later. Polaris have never asked for this second installment - so that was ominous. The silence has been deafening.The only communication from them has been to wish us a happy christmas - felt like sending them some sentiments in return. Looks as though we'll be nearer retirement than we'd planned by the time of completion. Looking forward to hearing from those of you heading for La Torre in the near future - good luck.

Hi all,

I emailed our agent in Spain half an hour ago (Mike Knivet, Sunseeker Homes) to find out what exactly is or isnt happening at Terrazas.  He phoned me immediately, and has assured me that the only reason changes have been made is that Polaris were refused permission to build so many properties. A couple of the later phases have been cancelled and, as we know, discounts offered to relocate those buyers affected. Otherwise, all is going ahead as planned. (We have purchased on phase 2)
