Hi all
This is very late notice but we need an apartment to rent from this Sunday for a week . Ideally in Phase 2, close to Block 42.
Anyone have anything?
Thanks
Dawn

Have recently returned from Roda and thought it was worth noting something to watch out for when snagging, especially if you're doing it yourself. We got Roy from Inspectahome to do ours and as well as all the usual snagging that you would expect, he also found that our boiler was leaking gas. Unless you have the specialist device to check for gas leaks, then it's impossible to tell there's a leak as there was no smell or other evidence. Luckily Roy picked it up and Roda, to their credit, got it fixed straight away. They haven't been as quick to get all the other outstanding snagging finished but we gather from EOS that it's fairly typical! Would definitely recommend professional snagging though to those who have yet to get to this stage and would definitely recommend Roy.

As a Phase 2 owner, I definitely want to add my support to this issue. The Beach Club was used as a sales tool to help justify the premium we have paid for our property on Roda. At no time did anyone say we have to pay for the transport there and this adds a big cost to our own family holidays at Roda and those of the people we hope to rent our apartment to. We have no details of our community president or anything like that yet so any information on who to send our complaint to would be appreciated.

Does anyone know what the plan is with sunbeds by the pools at Roda? Is it something each owner will have to provide; if so, how are they managed, they'll all look different, etc.

Has anyone else had this experience? We've bought a 2-bed apartment on Phase 2 (Alhambra) two years ago and went out this weekend to see the apartment for the first time in advance of completion in a couple of weeks. We were absolutely astounded to find that the entire layout of the apartment (down to the layout of the bathrooms, removal of storage areas, wardrobe positioning, etc.) had changed from the plans we signed when we bought it. The living areas we can live with (there are no better worse than before) but the changes to bathrooms, bedrooms and storage are really bad. The contract says that the developer can make alterations due to legal or technical reasons but to change the entire design and not tell us? Has anyone else experienced this and how did you get it resolved? Would appreciate some advice - am still in shock!!
