We also agree,Richard & Ava have been a great help to us over the past 3 years, keeping us all posted with the latest progress,(or lack of it at CDP), but we have now completed & will be over early in April to see our friends buy them both a drink. Keep up the good work Rich.........

Hi all,

We totally agree with the comments made by RSTA & KP about the latest delay situation at CDP & also cannot believe the Habitation licence issue has not been factored into the completion dates. We are in Phase 1 & were hoping to be coming out in March/April 08 to complete. We have booked holidays from work,(luckily not the flights yet),as no doubt many others have, based on the latest information & the excellent progress we have seen on site over the past 12 months.

We feel it's about time someone in authority at Peinsa 97 SL, finally let us,the owners, know where we stand. Perhaps Roger could pen another letter to them? Or Amanda Oakley at PSI, who seems to have a contact at Peinsa, may be able to help us?

It's so frustrating to be so close, only to hear another rumour,of yet more potential delays. "Does anyone know the truth about what's happening at CDP?"

Hope to see you all sooner rather than later,

David & Cheryl  (No.26 Phase 1)

Hi All,

We have just returned from San Juan de los Terreros, staying in one of Richard & Ava's villa's for a few days, while we checked progress at Calas del Pinar.

We would certainly recommend their services & hospitality, when you visit the area.

They know the area well, are extremely friendly & knowledgeable on all aspects of  property management in Spain.

I hope they can "manage" the rush in 2008 !!!!

Progress at CDP in the last year is amazing, but I'll expand on that in another thread later, when I have a moment.

Dc 2

Hi,

We to have also just returned from a site visit to Calas del Pinar,we avoided going last Thursday 12th as it was a holiday in Spain, but having arrived on Friday, it appeared that the Builders decided to extend the holiday to the week-end,so there was nobody working that day either.( perhaps we should have avoided Friday 13th as well!!)

We were advised by a very nice young lady in the site office, Patricia Garcia that our unit in Phase 1 would be completed in June 2007,the lack of obvious progress being due to the local Authority insisting that they complete the roads & green areas before they could start building.(Fairly obvious, for access, I would have thought.)

Having spent a while looking around the site it was clear that the Phase 1 area has not progressed in 6 months, much of the underground service pipes are installed, but not so much as a kerbstone in sight. In my opinion they have no chance of meeting the June date & on our return to the office Ms.Garcia did admit they might be 2 or 3 months late...........sorry another 2 or 3 months late !!!!

I hope to be proved wrong, but we won't be booking any flights to Almeria for June just yet.

I have asked to Solicitor to contact Peinsa direct to see if they can clarify the programme situation.

Hope the next report from site can give a more positive view on progress.

Hope to see some of you in 2007.....

Dave & Cheryl

ps Nice to meet Frank & Pat from Phase 4 in the site office.
