Hi everyone, Just thought we would let you no we paid soliciter the money back in september to take arenal to court .We have just recieved a court date of 18th january 2010 for first hearing between soliciters. If they do not agree on giving us our money back which our soliciter says is unlikely. The date for the case will be summer2010. Arenal are now fighting the case on the grounds of there problems with bulder and the recession. Because of the recession the case will take this long to get to court because of the amount of cases the courts are dealing with.I think arenal are playing for time as this allows them to complete the rest of site and the market could have picked up by then. As its another 17 months before they have to pay anymore money out ,back to people taking them to court.. Sorry for the bad news but thought  we had to let you all know.This is what we have been told by our soliciter today .It has taken nearly 7 months just to give as a date from when we paid court fees because of back log of causes.Good luck to you all in getting your money back. To  those of you who have completed good luck to you also hope the site brings you many years of joy and happiness you all deserve it . bye for now . daz 1....

Hi everyone we have cancelled our apartment and have been told we will have to go to court to get our money back the cost of this is appr 11500 eoros half now the rest after the court case . If we win the case the developer will have to cover the costs of this action has anyone else had to do this to get there money back we would be interested to know . hope you all have the best of british with the site but the timing is not right for us at the moment good luck daz1

hello everyone ,hope you are all nearing the end of the messing about we have had to put up with. what l would like to ask is has anyone had there apartment revalued by an independant surveyer to see if the valulation is different from what you bought at and if you could rise more money towards the mortgage this way . l was told by an independent adviser you could get more money towards your mortgage this way and was just wondering if anyone had done this and what was the outcome. thanks for now good luck to everyone in the near future ....

hello everyone . just read bantams message and would be interested in his or anyones opinion who is on site at the moment. as there opinion as an apartment owner and someone who can see and hear the lasted rumours are always more helpful than that of the developers because your interests are the same as ours.we have an apartment in block11 phase 4. thank you for your time and opinion on this matter ......daz1

hello everyboby. we are  waiting for our apartment on phase 4 block11 to be ready.we would like to come over for xmas for a week around the 20th december and was looking to see if anyone had a apartment to rent around this time or if not xmas around easter time. if anyone has an apartment please leave your details and cost and we will contact you . we have not been over since aug 2006 and will be interesting to see if much has changed thanks for now and good luck to everyone
