thanks for your reply. We didn't instigate action early enough,  I fear. We have a competent, proactive lawyer (yes, really!) but even she iis doubtful of our success now. As she puts it, there is something amiss down at the court in La Linea, as in between the Xmas break and the return to work after 3 Kings, the licence on our apartment was issued, apparently! This seems an amazing, unlucky co-incidence, as the court knew we  were puttting papers together to file - as we repeatedly asked them if we were too late i.e had the licences been issued or was there time to lodge a claim. They wouldn't put anything in writing, then suddenly the licence has reputedly been issued - co-incidence - or what?

we 're trying to keep on with our action but a successful outcome is looking less likely..............Dave

Can anyone help please? We went court to cancel our purhase contract thus avoiding completing on our unit> After the court finding in our favour it now turns out the banks against whom we are claiming (via the bank guaantee) are saying that they dispute the court ruling as LoFO were issued before our court case was heard ( by a few days!). Only in chaotic 2010 could this happen - acourt finds for an applicant and the bank 'corrects' them!!

My question is does anyone know with certainty which LoFO have been issued on this ill-fated developmen we all bought into in good faith, SO long ago?
