We communicated a last year about sun and sea. We have just had a preliminary hearing regarding the bank Guarantee in Estepona. Banco Popular did not issue a Bank Guarantee even though the deposit was paid into a dedicated client account or special account thus should have been protected by a Bank Guarantee.

We now have to prosecute Banco Popular to get the deposit back plus interest and costs - this can take another two years! It would be good to know if anyone has made any further progress on other apartments in this development. They are all now being resold with 75% non status finance from 151K.

Please let me know if you are still going down the legal route to reclaim your money?
