Just spotted this post. I cant understand how you didn't foresee this problem. After all we both booked the flights at the same time months in advance - I just picked the right dates!!!!!!

Anyway, not sure about the luck of the Irish, we only got the 8 days we planned - you got 10.

Thanks for the update folks. Heading down next week so looking forward to some decent weather. It'll probably be quieter when we're there, no matter.

I agree about the pools, I think its something we should addres in the next couple of weeks. I would suggest some kind of joint approach although I'm not sure how we'll orchetrate it. I'll call to PAtricia next week for an update and post something here then. One way or the other I think we should try to put pressure on Peinsa to deliver the three pools that are completed in time for summer.

Any other thoughts?

I use www.aaireland.ie/routes for planning jorneys. If you log onto this you'll see a map of Ireland and just above it a black band where you can type in Almeria Airport to San Juan de los Terreros - you must also check the box for Europe on the right hand side of this bar.

You'll get very detailed directions and a map. It's also a very easy drive to an Jan from this airport.

I would also recommend having a look at the route on Google Earth as it gives you a very good picture.
