I instructed my solicitors last month to contact the developers informing them that I wanted my full deposits back , my solicitor gave them 10 days in which to reply.

The developers eventually did reply but are trying desperately to wriggle out of refunding my deposits, my solicitors have sent them a second and final letter, if I don't get any satisfaction I will them have to take them to court to get my deposits back.

My solicitor says this could be a drawn out affair (being Spanish this doesn't surprise me one bit) I will continue to keep in contact with the website to let all know what is happening.

I think gwincy is right in that we have been taken for a ride (I also purchased through IAP) it would appear that once they have your deposit not much else matters. It may also be a point that we could form a represented quorum, it would be nice to hear from others if they would be interested, so we could be ready for March 30th 2008 en bloc.

Further news from my agent is that the development will be at least 6 months behind schedule, finish date was September 2007 but is now destined for March 2008. If it goes past this deadline then you should be able to cancel your contract with the developer and reclaim all your deposits. However I am told that this can be a lengthy process.

I have bought in Block 3 no. 2 and the company i bought through have very recently had the bank value my property they say that the growth on this development has been 13% in the last year. Has anybody else had any valuations done on their block? It would be good to compare valuations to see if the figures work out.

I have spoken to my agent and he informs me that he has contacted the developers and they insist that the whole development finish date of September 2007 is on target. I have asked him to get me some photos ASAP when i get them i will upload them to this site.
