I am a single white female here in Spain and can say I have had no problems as such...with the exception of meeting other people who are single and free...most of my friends are married or have children which means we cannot do things that I would really like to do.

Dear Duquessa Fairways

I am from Vista Bahia - a site built and formerly presided over by Jale and Ammex was their chosen administrators. Can I please say, if you have Jale there, do not offer to pay for it yourself now, because evertually, you will do anyway. Jale were supposed to be paying for our community landscaping, but the gardeners employed and paid for by the residents of Vista Bahia, were also employed by Jale and it would appear that Jale's private gardens were done and some landscaping, but to be honest we paid almost double quoted by our gardeners for the year 2006 without explanation - hmmm, smell a rat? As for Ammex, all I can say is be very careful - ask to see the books! They will not like it or show them to you, and when you do finally get control of your community, you will have no funds and lots of bills left to pay! We have no finally got rid of them and their corruption!

Good luck with it all...and if anyone can provide me with the contact details for Jale's Head Office I'd be most grateful.

Hi to all those Vista Bahia owners

There are a couple of us residing in Vista Bahia who have been attempting to take action with Ammex and find out what is happening to our comminuty money. Unfortunately, Ammex have been less than helpful and have refused to show us the books. We did have a recent victory when after a lot of complaining we managed to get most of the community lights back on!

However, there are some concerns about the people who are working on the site as they have all been recommended by our Vice President! Hmmm....

We have put a letter together to send to all owners, in Spanish and English, to try and get us banded together to fight Jale and Ammex. Hopefully that will be sent out soon.

I am also trying to set up an owners website so that we can to hold a meeting either online or have a meeting on site, with your comments being presented the owners meeting.
