Hi All

Lots of good news on site with people getting money back.

Can anyone give me adivce, im with aldea and i no lots of people have changed and had success with other solicitors but is it worth me changing ? all i want is a cancelation form and my 3000 deposit back.

They keep telling me huma aint giving out cancelation forms its been a year.but they do keep reminding me about there fee.

Hi all

i sent of for a cancellation form in october and still  have not recceived it , aldea always seem to be on answear machine dont no if anybody else has a problem getting through?

Can anybody tell me the date that the builders went of site as we bought in october 05 and after our intiall deposit of £2000 we sent the first stage payment , (to our surprise it sat in the solictors holidng account for a year) we are wondering if that is were our £2000 is.

Hi All

Can anyone tell me if i have to wait  for my contract to end before pulling out.

It ends 23 october 07, aldea says i can pullout any time by emailing a letter to  which i have had no reply (surprise surprise)

and my parador rep says i cant till this date as the builder is not in breach of contract.Even though i wont get the keys by this date.  

Im only asking for my £2000 deposit back

 Hello

Can anyone tell me  the process  of pulling out .Our contract date was 23/04/07  do i have to wait six months on top off this.Do i have to sign with the solicotor or just ring parador .

And will there be any payments i would have to make to the solictors for work they supposed to have already done .

We managed to get our first payment back as this wasnt  forwarded to the builder as he was already of site, so its just the case of the £2000 deposit and £400 owners club fee we have to get back .

I also had a letter from my bank regarding  the tax residence,when i asked my parador contact she said (we dont need a bank account unless we tend to move out there )so why did the rep go and open one on our behalf ?
