Welcome to the site. We have been told that the final licence is in place but as Joe says , dont believe it until you see a copy. It certainly looks like building is under way on phase 1, they say it should be ready towards the end of the year and I`ve heard from people on other sites that they do build very quick once they get going. I am on phase 2 and would like to know when they will start work on that. Dont know if they will complete phase 1 and then start on phase 2 or if they will overlap, we`ll just have to wait and see.

As far as the bank guarantee  is concerned they have just reissued it. I dont know why that was as ours only expires in 2009 .One thing you must do is ask  your  Spanish solicitor to send you a copy ,and dont stop asking till they send you one.

Yeah I heard that about the hotels not being very popular, ie Mar Manor. The planned 5 star hotel at El Valle has been scrapped.To be honest it would`nt bother me if they scrapped ours. I would rather people rented my villa than stay in the hotel.Got to pay the mortgage somehow !!

If the golf course is going to be laid out in tandem with the construction of phase 1 I`d like to see cam 2 pointing at THAT. Be nice to see a few holes , tees, fairways ect. Now that WILL get me exited again.

Does anyone know if we are going to have a 19th  (sorry clubhouse) or are we gonna have to go back to someones villa for thervezas?

Thanks for the prompt posting, encoureging news I can go to work this am with a lifted heart and when the sceptics that i work with ask me how it is all going I can say very well thankyou.

I also received an email yesterday from our solicitor saying he is having a copy of our bankers gaurentee forwarded to us.

cant wait to see your photos.  Did you ask why the webcam had stopped working?

I am definitely buying on TH and I do get your drift , often wonderd myself about who is acrually buying on TH or weather they are from another ssite.
