Hi all

Airports, hotels, leisure facilities and a developer with dignity, my foot!  Were we not promisede all this and more?  Roda and Covera were not like the horror stories of before and we would have the protection of the improved legal system that put most sensible buyers off from buying in Spain.

I am pleased some are worried about their long walk to the club house while many others only have £10,000's of thousands of £'s at high risk of being lost and risks to their health!

OK, it is easy to take pot shots at anyone when you are angry and treated unfairly but this effects all.  Disgruntled comments will put potential purchasers off, pending legal action against the developer will strangle their already limited debt ridden finances (who will do the snagging then? ) and an unprecidented ecconomic climate that still has not reached a bottom.  No one is without concern!

I simply want my hard earned money back.  I have not defaulted or breached contract, sold appartments without licence.  Surely I have consumer rights???  I can not run my business like this and treat my customers like this.  Simple, I wouldn't have 1.  Ultimately that will be the consequence of this development, it will fall into freefall splitting the community who will only be concerned with themselves with know one listening.

It is wrong.  I await with interest information from the gathering group persuing return of their funds.  If you need any extra support, please forward your details and I will be glad to join!

I to have an appartment reservered on Roda 4b.  I only paid the 1st 15% dep back in late 07.  I have refused ever since to forward the 2nd half as it became very clear that they would not hit the deadline for build.  When I looked at it realistically at the date it would be completed 2011, earliest.

I instructed a solicitor to act on my behalf last year for full return of my money due to breach of contract, selling a property with no building licence and / or consumer rights.  I have been told that I am in breach for not paying the second depposit so a court would rule in their favour!

I have extended my gaurentee as to offer alittle protection for myself.  Roda have contacted me every 3 - 4 months chasing the second deposit but offer nothing in return.  The are avassive, rude and lack integrity!

The real situation is very alarming due to the real ecconomic situation.  I hope like me, you find the strength to hit them where it will hurt and not be bullied into purchase.  Hang them out to dry like they have us!

I now understand there are official groups fighting together.  Does anyone have details of these?  Lets take our fight to the European Court, slow them down and bring as much attention against them as possible.

There will be no De-Vere in forceable future, many owners have many gripes and there are so many empty properties.  They can not take us all on and sustain their other development, that is a fact.

I am very interested in hearing from anyone re; the above!
