Hi, welcome any views on buying a 2 bed, 2 bath apartment on Thalassa, we have the option to buy at €60k, will need furnishing and white goods. At €60k would the forum members foresee this as a good investment? Plan would be in 10 years to probably sell and gain equity, that's the plan. Investing our savings, taking a local UK mortgage to buy. Excited but is this a sound investment?

Thank you for your reply and words of interest. We have an opportunity of a bank repo on Thalassa with a large balcony. We have stayed on Thalassa and felt right, homely, quiet and respected community. The apartment for 42k seems like a great bargain, was this on Thalassa? Bank repo being offered we could now buy from 63000 and does seem like a good buy, add around 6k to furnish and ready to go. Best regards, Chris

Hi, we are very close to purchasing on Thalassa, block 3, bank repo and wondered if anyone had views about Thalassa? would anyone think now is a good time to buy, could prices fall any further and what's the outlook, our plan would be to sell in 10 years and looking for an investment property. Purchase and exit or close costs seem high at 12% and 8%, then capital gains tax, is it really worth investing or better to invest locally here in the UK? Appreciate any thoughts - thank you
