Just heard today that the spanish supreme court have deemed that people who lost there monies to the developers in the crash of 2008/9 should be refunded by the Banks. It seems there are over 100,000 cases of which the banks are expected to cough up 15bn euros, it is also thought that the some banks may go under, of course they are going to fight it, so here we go again around and around... Interesting my solictors at NBA have lost my file/notes and the person dealing with it has left the company some 6 months ago.....so we have to start all over again....thanks for those people who provided solictor details, I am in the process of working through them, I not sure if having a spanish base solicitor has any advantages though....

Good luck everyone, and it would be good to hear of any success rates.

For those that have been ripped off over the years.

There has been plenty of people on this forum - who managed to win there cases in Court, but has anyone actually received any of there money back.

If so I would very much like to know who your solictor is because I am sure mine is in cohoots with the builders and the justice system (NBA).

Lets hope that the new potential purchases do not get treated like we all did back in 2006 and 10 years on we are still fighting. !!!

Interestingly,  Iam due to retire from work in the next month and  it is about now that  the plan was to be in our house for the summer of  2016....

I read with interest about the proposed buyers to properties on M54. I had a property on that section, all signed and monies paid for back in 2007 with masa and procobar builders... In 2009  advised by my solictor NBA, we both went to the Notary to register a dispute on the property.... So I am afraid and hopefully for me and my family whoever ends up with what was my property may be required to settle the dispute first.

So apologies for the person(s) that might end up with this but if someone wants to private message me with the solictors that are dealing with this section.

 Excellent news John and Sue,

Unfortunately my battle goes on, nothing heard from the solictors, although a block was put on our property at the notary back in 2009... so I am hopeful that when these new developers come to register what i still dream has my property with any new potential owners, they will find that there is still outstanding issue.

Albeit that is what I am lead to believe.
