Hi All,
This is a dire situation, we to are waiting to complete on our apartment in escalera 5, not sure we will see our apartments because the builders seem to be paying off his debts by selling buildings and car parking spaces not sure if any of these are our apartments. Its very difficult to know what steps to take. Carol & the committee at vegamar are doing the best they can for the apartment owners but understandably cant help us as we are not owners.

I would like to say a big thankyou to Carol and her team over there in Spain, you are ding a wonderful job and have acheived loads in the last couple of weeks i look forward to meeting you...eventually. I am one of the ones who hasnt yet completed and i havent had a date yet to complete, obviously its all looking a bit scary! is anyone aware how many apartments have yet to be completed? Are there lots? What should i be doing now? DO i need to contact a solicitor now or should i wait to hear from Idearco, its just so confusing, i contacted my agent weeeks ago and he said that he would find out what he can, but yes you guessed it he hasnt got back to me.My husband and i are so looking forward to retiring to Spain into our apartment but it all seems to be hanging in the balance now. Any advice gratefully received, would you recommend attending the AGM in May even though i have not completed? Will i find out anything

What about those people who havent completed? Whats happened to our apartments? Did anyone ask about those people that havent completed at the meeting? I am still waiting for mine on escalera 5! I imagine that all prepaid money is money lost, with no apartment and no chance of getting any money back, or am i just looking on the bad side? Its unfortunate that i cant make it out to any meetings, but does anyone have any info that may help?

Hello to all you lucky people who are in your apartments! This site is fantastic for keeping me up-to-date with the development and i thank you all for that. I have bought on escalera 5 can anyone let me know when they are due to be completed? I cant seem to get an answer from anyone, and having read the post that the company may be in financial trouble im a little concerned. WHen my wife and i visited Almoradi to view the development (nearly 2 years ago) we got that "feel good factor" about the area and after looking at lots of other developments Almoradi seemed the right one, however i have to say that we didnt expect to wait this long!! Will we be in by the summer we ask ourselves, or will we have to drink our sangria in the british sunshine (if there is any this year!)!! any information greatly appreciated.
