     Yes, these are the same solicitors we have had since the beginning, and it was they who did not obtain the bank guarantee. Does anyone know if it is possible to sue the solicitor for failing to obtain the Guarantee.

Thank you for your comments, however you have no idea how much money, time, phone calls, e mails and personal visits to the solicitors I have made. If you have any constructive help to offer, I am all ears.

The latest is that the developers assets are all mortgaged and he has no money.

I am a purchaser from the Upper development at Greenhills that was never built. We have gone through the legal system and obtained a judgement against the developers in November 07 for our deposit, interest, and legal fees. We have not seen a penny of it. Of course the solicitor failed to obtain a bank guarantee when contract was signed so we cannot even chase the bank.

Our solicitor in P. Banus never contacts us with information, we always have to chase him and it takes about a month to get an answer to our questions!!!!!!!!!

Anyway must go and chase up the solicitor yet again.

MrC Thganks very much for the information. Like yourselves we were told everyone's solicitors had been informed. Eralia even showed us the list they had sent to various solicitors. When we asked our solicitor he said he had been told that we were not affected. I am sending you a pm for more info - I hope you don't mind!!!

We are new to this forum. I wish I'd found it years ago.

Is there anyone out there who bought the Green Hills apartments that were not built. We bought in  August 2003. We had been monitoring progress on the internet thinking the pictures we were looking at were representative of the whole development. We turned up in Elveria about the time the apartment was due to be finished, (Aug/Sept: 05), with the intention of buying the furniture, only to find nothing built.

Imagine our shock. We have been battling to get our money back ever since. So far we have had two court dates cancelled and we are now being told that the next date might be in September - hopefully. We would be happy to discuss the situation and listen to advice from any other people out there in the same situation as ourselves. 

It would be good to compare notes and discuss how various solicitors are handling the situation.
