Perhaps  a silly question.....but I expect somebody else might be wondering too.

If we replace our 4 button fob to a 2 button fob and then get them re-programmed somehow... so one button is for the entrance and the other is for the exit barrier - how do we open our garage door?

In that case, am I right in thinking that all fobs opens any garage door?   I've never tested it on any other door.

I'm in the same situation, trying to work out where/how to renew my insurance policy

I was never told what proportion of the insurance policy - arranged by my spanish bank who I have my mortgage with -  was for buildings/contents, and what it actually covered.

Who knows how much buildings cover we actually need, and what is covered elsewhere by the community insurance.

I notice that the building insurance for the whole of DV, in last years budget report was approx 11.000 euros - but what does it cover, and what is left for us to cover.

any help/advice please would be most welcome

John,

Re seeing the glass in the patio doors....

We bought  some small  coloured, jelly-type, tranclucent , light reflective stick on circles. about 1/2 inch in size.  Get them from h'ware shops eg leroy Merlin/Carrefour etc.

We arranged them in a simple horizontal pattern across both windows.   Easily seen.

Hi,

John, you said below, the AGM is on Friday 18th April....... According to my new diary, the 18th is a Saturday.

Can anyone confirm when the AGM is, so perhaps we can start booking flights early enough this year.

I am glad to have noticed a lot of people have read this thread I started.
I just hope there are some real debtors amongst them who now feel ashamed enough to start paying up. However, unless there is an enforced penalty, then they have no incentive to do so.

I think the overwhelming concern appears to be that AEA are simply not doing their job in collecting our money. Or maintaining good lists and communicating with us.  (complaints about AEA seem to be common on lots of other threads in this forum as well)

I have no idea what we can do to ensure AEA improve their service to us.

Until they do, I suppose the rumour and gossip mill, will keep on turning.  Roll on the next time we are chatting round the pool on a barmy sunny afternoon.
