Hi All

We just received a letter yesterday from GCA SL informing us of the first Community meeting next Thursday, can't believe they've only given us one week's notice!  Are you all going to try and make the meeting or send a representative?

There are a few points Darren has suggested which obviously need discussing ie English TV Dish, smoke detectors etc.  If we're going to rent out surely it has to comply with EU safety standards which you would have thought the builder would put in as standard.

Might see you next week if the boss will let me have time off!

As like Susan and Adrian we have also a problem with leaking boiler, do you know if the builder will be fitting remedy under sink in all the apartments? We will get on to our agent about this.

Glad to hear crane has been moved as we have clients booked to use apartment in February.

Just to put the record straight the apartment on 5th floor was attempted but they didn't manage to get in due to good lock on door - unless you are referring to a second break in on 5th floor!?

Hi, We just got back from Miramar after a week's holiday.

Re: security - Didn't notice a security guard although site office seemed to have a light on each night? Whilst we were there lady on ground floor had break in but no sign of forced entry so possibly with a key and she hasn't had locks changed! Also an apartment on 5th floor had an attempted break in but doors are quite strong and fortunately they didn't manage it.  It is quite disturbing to discover squatters are in block 2 and probably watching our comings and goings.

It would help if people ensure main door is closed properly and locked which we have found open sometimes.  Anyway at least we didn't find any more dead bodies on the site!

Finding the area generally very nice, went for a fantastic meal at La Casita Suiza last week.  Also Mark the owner of the Cyber  Box internet cafe (with rental video machine) next to the smallest supermarket is very helpful, friendly and has lots of knowledge on the area.

Hi  We've visited Corvera on 21st September just in time to see digger/JCB arriving on large lorry. We were told by sales office purpose of the digger is to start putting roads/infrastructure in ready for workers to start.  I was also given a copy of CD Rom marketing the show aparment.  Also some trees have been removed where they were originally growing and being planted plus another office across road opposite sales office which will be a 'technical office'.
