We would like to add here that Maria has recently won our case against a developer that did not complete the works in time, did not build as original specification, did not provide bank guarantee, tried to force us to sign before first occupation licence granted and of course killed our dream of a home in Spain. Incidentally, he was not Spannish as is often the case and gives Spain a bad name. He did appeal, but has now recently lost the appeal.
We have not received the funds yet and not all of the funds are liquid - we will have to wait for assets to be sorted, but we should receive approximately one quarter in cash any day now. It's been a long year on year on year battle and we understand why many give up - but I say to anyone out there - do not give up on justice - find the right lawyer
Has anyone progressed further than this as yet, i.e. received all of their deposit back + costs + interest?
