We have a Bank Guarantee with BBVA they are willing to pay the amount stated on the Guarantee but not the legal interest is this normal, our solicitor has sent them 2 burofaxes which they have not responded to. Are they within their rights legally only to pay what is on the guarantee? We do not want to take them to court as this would take too long.

Thank you maria can you explain what FOL stands for please our lawyer does not keep in touch very much so we are trying to find out alot of information for ourselves;

yes we have a lawyer property should have been ready in january with another 3 month extension which means the end of april I think before we can start the process. I have heard from someone who waited 3 months but I'm not sure if that was the norm or if it could take years!!
