I doubt that the developer of the exchange would return they money. Despite what you think about him making money out pf the exchange rate, chances are he received very little or none of the deposit. It is highly likely that they agreed to sell the property at 70% of the ' value' and the deposit you paid has been retained as commission.

It will almost certainly be the same Stuartt Jones that you are referring to. If I were you I would report your experiences to the person in charge of the recovery, an employee of the receivers, not an Ocean View representative.

Seems to be what I expected with the Mortgage, I suspect that the amount I will be able to raise on the property may well be less than I have anticipated. Could you let me have the contact details of the management company you use if you don't mind and also the Mortgage broker.
