No unfortunately I don't live in Spain, well not yet... I hope to be able to move here when I retire.

But I do own a property in Vera, which is where I am at the moment sorting out a few things and it beats the british winter!

Have you heard of Vera?

I'm sorry "Mustard" but I believe you have misunderstood my intentions, I do NOT work for the developer.

I paid a deposit on a 1 bed apartment in block 3 back in 2006 and I merely wanted to share what I heard with other people in my position. I didn't realise I would be quizzed on if I am a "genuine" client or show proof... Would you like to see my contract?

I am not forcing people to do anything...

Hi Everyone,

This is my first post on here and I'm sorry I had to start with some bad news...

I have gotten wind that Proindal have just won their first court case against a client who like myself is delayed in completing on their property in Porto Fino.

I was hoping to be able to cancel the contract and just walk away but it seems that is not possible... I'm planning to contact Proindal directly to try and negotiate a way to complete, I hear they are helping people by offering them discounts or moving the deposits onto cheaper apartments.

In my opinion, this defiantly appears to be the best options because if they win the court case I believe the clients are made to pay the original price plus interest and legal fees.

I'd love to hear your opinions of this matter. Has anyone spoken to somebody from Proindal about this?
