 According to the Spanish forums it looks like the council have given the final approval in last nights meeting. The google translation is not very clear but it certainly appears to be positive anyway.

 A couple of other things that Raphael said on Wednesday that may be of interest :-

1) I asked if a construction company had been chosen to which he replied that they were talking to two companies, one from Madrid and one more local.
 Both are apparently very keen to take on the project.

2) I asked about the area that has been designated for the golf course which seems to reduce in size every time a revision is made to the site plan.
 He agreed but said the course designer was still able to fit the 18 holes ( 9 on each side). Looks like it could be very crammed in.

 Re Dave's question   Yes the two bases ready for concreting are in addition to the one you saw on your visit and sorry no photos to show.

 I've just seen on the Spanish forum a copied document which shows the embargo was over non payment of 753 Euros.

 This seems a bit strange given the conversation i had yesterday but is obviously much less of an issue than the dispute with the new road at El Trampolin.

 Whilst the road situation will still have to be resolved hopefully this is not the actual reason for the embargo after all ???
