Hi

If the weight of your luggage is queried ask them for the calibration certificateof the scales that usually causes a panick and then ask them to check the weight at another desk, there is usually a discrepancy between desks. This "weight discrepancy" should not occur between desks if the scales have all been calibrated at the same time. All supermarket,shops etc who sell produce by weight require by law to have their scales callibrated at regular intervals and the certificate produced should show a + - error recorded at the time. The check in desk scales will be covered by this law

I have been told that the High St bar/resturant is now a shoe shop (reliable source) I suppose you could say that the shoe is definately on the other foot now for the owner The last time I was there the air con had packed in and we had to ask for a fan, the wall mounted telly was blaring away with no one watching and the usual drunken bar flys including the owner were holding up the bar  In my opinion the place went steadily down the nick compared to a couple of years ago when the Scots guy (I forget his name) was running the show

Thanks for your replies

I was talking with one of my colleagues who works in the IT dept of the Health Board that I work for and he was telling me that before starting work in the Health Board he worked for a large telecomms company who installed the comms including wifi in the Mar Menor (strip) when that job was complete the company moved to La Torre and then to Hacienda. The last time I was in Hacienda he had given me the "engineers" passwords to try but unfortunately they didn't work so I can only assume that the wifi network has been installed but not activated.
