HOLA, not so much a thread more a request? does anyone have any ideas or experiance, on how to get from the san havier airport to the tiera del sol site for those who can't drive???  i ask because this week on the 18 jan 07,  by proxy, our lawyers finaly completed, after it twice being delayed when we'd come over just before xmas, the sighning over off our aparment there to us..  but, since booking a flight to come over in march, i've now been offered an operation in late february that i've waited months for, but it means for a while i don't think i'l be able to drive.. march is the earliest date we could get over to sort everything out, and were really looking foreward to finaly spending time looking around while staying in our own apartment ... so if anyones already done the trip from the airport to the site, either by taxi or whatever could you please let us know just how easy or hard it was!! and how much it cost.. if not, anyone who wants to earn a few extra euros, my e-mail address is bill.clarke6@yahoo.co.uk....  PS..can anyone tell me if  the area around the apartments has been tidied up yet, because at the time we were over, the area around some including ours, was a right mess..  our lawyer said they'd asked the builder for some assurrance it would be tidied up, but as off today fri 20 jan, they hadn't had any reply ??? so if anyone can shed any light on any off this, i'l be most grateful....regards bill clarke..

if anybodys interested, i've put some photos on the shared site off a reservoir we were shown when we first went there in 2005, i don't know what its called just that it only took us about twenty minutes to get there from the site.. i'm a angler myself so i expect to be spending some time fishing both the reservoir shown and the seguru river nearby that runs alongside the sanctuary.. on the day we were there it had been 110 degrees, as anyone can see from the photos the water level appears to be way below what it should, but i saw plenty off small fry rising taking gnats and such off its surface, i was also told there are some great granny pike as well as big cat fish in there.....to be continude???????????

hola everyone, does anyone have any information about when and how the rules for the community are going to be made..?? who decides now!??, what's acceptable and whats not,?? is there already a president or is it to early ??..just how many properties have to be handed over before its decided the owners can have a say ??. and who's responsibility is it at the moment to make sure every owner is informed off what the rules are now, or isn't it no-ones??, has there been  any meetings ect.. ??is every property having one vote or is it going to be in the case were theres a couples who's names are on the deeds, each one off them as a vote..??personely i hope its common sence that prevails and time isn't wasted arguing about what should be used a wooden stave or a piece off bamboo to stake a plant outside with? as daft as that sounds, i've read it as actualy happened on another development..PS anyone who wants to keep up to date with whats happening or happened in calasparra,, there a local bilingual news paper, you can access via the  web, the news is in both spanish and english,, in your web browser put.....www.nexocalasparra.com and it should take you straight to there site, to turn the pages just click the word NEXT:                 PS, if anyones fished the local reservoir or segura river, drop me a line!! get it!!!and let me know how you got on, hope to be over there sometime in march if not before..all the best billyboy*********

i,m writing this to ask if anyone else thinks the same as i do..just before christmas my wife and i along with other members of our family, including two off our grandchildren, came over to spain really looking foreward to having our own apartment finaly handed over to us..anyway when we arrived we were told by our agents there'd been a problem that meant a delay in the handing over off the property to us by about two weeks.. something i wish they'd let us know before we spent a few hundred pounds on booking flights and hotel rooms??..but the builder had offered to let us stay FREE gratis!!! in the show house for those two weeks!! we said what with christmas fast approaching back home, we really coudn't afford to take his offer up, which was fortunate because weve now just been told the handover, won't be until the 18 off this month january 2007.. before we left though we'd been and bought most off the furniture, it won't be delivered until a day or so before we return, and had to arrange for our lawyers to have power off attorney as we couldn't be there to see to the handover.. which was a shame because its not every day you buy a property in spain!!. putting all of that aside, when we'd visited the site, about the third off december, we were surprised and pleased at just how much progress had been made since we were last there in about july 2005... then apart from a show house there'd been virtualy nothing else but the very basic building works..   a JCB digger parked were we were told our apartment was going to be and now stands.. so this is my question, because off unfinished groundworks ( ie renforcing left uncovered and sticking up, covers missing off manholes ect, along with general building debri around the apartment area, there was no way we as adults could have safely used it, let alone our grandchildren.. and seeing as our bank had told us has soon as our property was handed over, we'd have to start paying the morgage we'd taken out to buy the property, when is a building finished, when the last brick is laid or when the groundworks are all completed around it in such a way it can be safely accessed..????? PS.. i've posted a few photos off  the site in general and how the area around our apartment was then in the photo gallery...PPS despite everything we can't wait to get back...........
