We were in the same boat as you a few months ago when I kept on enquiring to Palmera and they eventually admitted that nothing was happening and they were suing Mirador. It was at this stage we didn't know who to believe. Coming onto this website pointed us in the direction of the Costa Del Sol Action group who in the space of 3 days had given us more information than Palmera in the last 3 years. He seems to be leading the claim against Palmera and Group Mirdar and now they have over 40 members joined. They are excellent and we now feel someone is working with us to try and get our money back. By all means you can mention my name and that you heard about them from this web site, I'm Bev.

 

It is worrying and I think it will be a long process, however I do feel they are working in our best interests and they will keep you posted of everything that has happened and is happening.

 

Good luck and let me  know how you get on. I have heard nothing constructive from Palmera since they said they were suing so I have little if any faith in them.

Thanks Banjo, it is nice to hear that other customers have good feedback for CDSAG. They have been brilliant since I spoke to them. And I haven't even joined yet. They have copied me into all mails and all information. I just hope that we can get more people interested so we can go in with them heavy handed. What a nightmare Palmera have been. We bought after friends of ours recommended. Theirs completed last year and they resold but didn't receive back all teh funds from sale and profit that they should have done, so I think even if you do win, you don't win all you should have.

The worst thing is that most of the clients, unless the have been keeping a good eye on things will not even know this is happening and just pressume there is a delay. It's the fact that Palmera have treated us like mushrooms that upsets me.

I've got a lot of mails from Palmera and all my docs I'll be sending through to CDSAG later this week and I'll keep you posted if I hear any more from Anita as I've been mailing her too. Good luck to you too, I'm sure they'll work weel for us all.

I've just started a new thread. I'm about to join CDSAG as we bought 3 1/2 years ago on Valle Rosario and like yourselves have had virually nothing from Palmera. However CDSAG have sent me loads of information and updates even before I have paid to join the fight (doing that this week).

I have quite a lot of faith in them and feel they will fight our cause. If you need an e-mail address for the contact let me know and I'll palce it on.

Good luck and here's to getting out money back (all of it plus compensation).

Hi,

We purchased one of the apartments 3 1/2 years ago off plan and heard virtually nothing of progress from Palmera until 8 weeks ago when we found out from them that they we suing Mirador for fraud. Since then I have heard little from Palmera except them saying they cannot pay back deposits at all as Mirador have the money.

I contacted the Costa Del Sol Action Group following a message on this forum. They have given me more information in the last few weeks than Palmera have done in 3 and 1/2 years.

We have now joined their fight along with 30 or so more clients and hopefully they will be pressing charges against both companies in the very near future. I hope that more people join up as the more join the better chance we all have of getting our money back. We personnally were going to move out with our young son, however now have to plan for another arrival so need our funds to extend here. Absolutely gutted that Palmera and Mirador have treated clients like this.

If anyone hears any more I would be very grateful, thanks
